Bangor Veterinary Clinic

Veterinary care with the heart of a neighbor and the hands of experience.

Since 1997, Bangor Veterinary Clinic has been a place where pets are known by name, families are treated like neighbors, and care is never rushed. As a family-owned practice rooted in our community, we're proud to provide trusted veterinary care that blends everyday medicine with the warmth and personal connection of a hometown clinic. Whether you're here for a routine visit or something more urgent, you can feel confident knowing your pet is cared for with compassion, honesty, and the same dedication we'd give our own.
The Gobles difference

What Makes Us Different

When our clients leave, it’s important to us that they feel listened to, cared for, and confident in the choices they’ve made for their pets.” - Dr. Andy Baker (Owner and Founder).
Everyday Care, Close to Home
From wellness checkups, vaccines, spay/neuter surgeries, to sick visits, we make essential veterinary care convenient for Bangor families. And when advanced procedures like orthopedic surgery, dental care, or ultrasound are needed, your pet has seamless access to our sister clinic in Gobles, without losing the continuity of care you know and trust.
Rooted in the Community
We’re proud to be locally owned and operated. Our team lives and works here and shares in the everyday lives of Bangor families. That connection guides our care for pets with the same trust and respect we’d want for our own.
Care That Fits Your Family
No two pets (or families) are alike. That’s why we create care plans that reflect your pet’s needs and your family’s circumstances. You’ll never feel boxed into a single “right way,” and we’ll walk you through options and help you choose what feels best.
Time to Talk, Time to Care
Appointments at Bangor aren’t rushed. From the moment you check in, you’ll have real face-to-face time with our veterinarians. We’ll answer your questions, explain our recommendations, and make sure you feel fully supported before you head home.
Our Promise To You

Generations of trusted care, from our family to yours.

Bangor Veterinary Clinic has been part of this community since 1997, caring for the pets of our neighbors for more than 25 years. As a locally and family-owned practice led by Drs. Andy and Marianne Baker, we’re deeply rooted in the small-town values of compassion, connection, and community, and many of the families who first trusted us with a puppy or kitten now bring us pets from the next generation.

That continuity is something we don’t take for granted. It shapes how we practice, how we hire, and the pace we keep with every family who walks through our door. Our Bangor clinic is where you’ll find the everyday care that keeps pets healthy and families at ease, from wellness exams, vaccines, and spay/neuter to minor surgeries and sick visits, all delivered with the warmth and personal attention that have defined us from the beginning.

And because we’re part of the Baker family of clinics, your pet also has seamless access to advanced services like orthopedic surgery, dental care, and ultrasound at our sister location in Gobles, without ever losing the relationship you’ve built with our team here in Bangor.

Whether it’s a first puppy visit, a wellness checkup for a longtime companion, or a question you need answered the same day, you can count on Bangor Veterinary Clinic to provide the kind of care where you and your pets truly feel like family.

They treat you and your fur baby with respect. Asked questions are answered so you can understand if you don’t they will explain further. Pleasant staff.

Not only did BVC charge me less than the other money hungry clinics, they ensured that my baby and I were a priority! I’ve never had a clinic make me feel so welcome, and all I did was schedule a simple appointment over the phone. I can already sense the love and respect, and I am looking forward to doing my business with BVC in the future!

One year ago…I lost my beautiful doberman….I could not have asked for a more caring group of people. It was a long, sometimes tough road taking care of my boy…but they were always there when we needed them. Thank you everyone at Bangor Veterinary Clinic! You’re the best!

Was in South Haven for a long weekend, and forgot the meds that keep our old dog comfortable. No SH vets answered or had doctors on site on a Saturday morning, but this vet in Bangor very courteously worked with our out of town vet to accommodate us. They filled a script and saved the weekend for us, thank you!!!

Such nice, caring people. We take all 4 of our cats here and they always feel comfortable with the staff. The office has later hours (which is great for people that work) and are also open for a few hours on Saturdays. I would definitely recommend them!

Hi, My husband and I just got back from Brandi’s visit to the Doctor. As usual the girls and the Doctor were very concerned and caring towards our big girl. We know that they will do what’s best for our pets. I’m glad we switched over to Bangor. They show TRUE concern. We are extremely thankful and appreciative for all they do. Thank you all again.

Moved to the area only a couple weeks ago and our dog started acting like she had an ear infection. No other vets were taking new patients, but when I explained the situation, they fit our dog in. Extremely nice and helpful. They came out to the car to get her (Covid) and the vet himself called me to explain everything. Brought her back out, I paid, and off we went! Glad I called them and glad I decided to go there!

The veterinarians and technicians are always so helpful and truly care about each pet like their own. We always receive great care here. Whether feline or canine, routine or unexpected emergency, we always leave the office feeling better than when we went in. Very reasonably priced for services performed, and knowledgeability of staff is outstanding

Had my sweet kitty “Socks” cremated through the Bangor clinic and they were so kind to me and heartwarming. They gave me a clay paw print and ink prints of his nose and paw as well. His ashes came in an adorable little urn. I can’t thank the team enough at Bangor for you thoughtfulness and compassion.
